Our experience with Mary at Heritage Rhodesian Ridgebacks has been nothing short of incredible. From the very beginning, Mary made us feel like we were not simply choosing a puppy but that we were becoming part of a family and a community that genuinely cares about the breed.

When we brought Phoebe home, it became very clear how much thought, knowledge and love went into raising the pups during those first weeks. Phoebe has such a wonderful personality and we are constantly told how beautiful, confident, intelligent and well-adjusted she is. Mary has continued to be an incredible resource even after Phoebe came home. She has been there to answer questions, offer guidance and share her experience whenever we need it.

It is obvious how deeply Mary cares about preserving everything that makes the Rhodesian Ridgeback such a special breed, including their beauty and structure, health, temperament, intelligence and overall character. She puts so much thought into her dogs and the families they go to and that was something we appreciated from the very beginning.

Phoebe has brought so much joy into our lives and we feel incredibly fortunate to have her. We are excited to watch her continue to grow and develop and we are open to exploring what the future may hold for Phoebe and her place in the Heritage lineage. We will always be grateful to Mary for trusting us with such a special girl and for continuing to support us as she grows.

We cannot recommend Heritage Rhodesian Ridgebacks enough to anyone looking for a breeder who genuinely cares about their dogs and the families who bring them home. We feel incredibly fortunate to have Phoebe and even more fortunate that our relationship with Mary did not end the day we picked her up. We know we can continue to turn to her throughout Phoebe’s life and that means so much to us.
