After years of owning purebred Rottweilers my wife and I decided, after stumbling upon several Rhodesian Ridgebacks and further researching the breed, that our next dog would be a Ridgeback. Many years ago I worked as a police dog handler in the US Army and later trained dogs for a living. Through those experiences I thoroughly understand the importance of quality ethical breeding as it relates to producing dogs of good temperament and health.
As we began our search I researched and spoke with several breeders of Ridgebacks. Once I spoke to Mary I was confident that this was the breeder for us. It was evident very early that she is very passionate, caring and informative.
From our first visit to see the puppies at 5 weeks we were impressed with how responsive and receptive they were to us. Mary had them socialized and training well underway at this point. Mary is always available to provide information and/or answer questions not only prior to taking the puppy home, but anytime thereafter.
I would highly recommend Mary to anyone considering a Rhodesian Ridgeback.
